This is a hands-on production position responsible for safely operating, setting up, adjusting, and monitoring millwright and related production equipment used in our animal health manufacturing operations. The Millwright Operator helps ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established production procedures, GMP requirements, quality standards, and company policies.\n\nWe offer:\n4Day Work Week MondayThursday | 5:30 AM4:00 PM\nAffordable Benefits 1st of the month\n401K Retirement Match Program\n8 Paid Holidays\nPaid Time Off and Paid Sick Time\nCareer Development Opportunities\nWhat You'll Do\nSafely operate assigned millwright and production equipment according to established procedures.\nPerform equipment startup, shutdown, setup, and changeover activities.\nMonitor equipment performance throughout the production process.\nMake routine operational adjustments within established procedures and training.\nMonitor production parameters to ensure equipment is operating within established specifications.\nInspect equipment before and during operation and immediately report abnormal conditions, unusual sounds, leaks, damage, or performance concerns.\nVerify that equipment and production areas are clean and ready for use before beginning production.\nFollow production schedules, batch records, work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing specifications.\nAccurately document production activities, equipment checks, material usage, and other required information.\nPerform inprocess checks and communicate quality concerns or deviations to the appropriate supervisor or Quality representative.\nAssist with product and equipment changeovers while following applicable cleaning and lineclearance procedures.\nIdentify production inefficiencies and communicate opportunities for process improvement.\nWork closely with Production, Quality, and other departments to support production goals.\nFollow GMP requirements to prevent contamination, crosscontamination, and foreignmaterial risks.\nFollow all company safety procedures, including machine guarding, PPE, and applicable lockout/tagout requirements.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe production work area.\nEscalate equipment problems requiring mechanical or technical repair to the appropriate Maintenance personnel.\nParticipate in required safety, GMP, quality, and jobspecific training.\nPerform other productionrelated duties as assigned.\nWhat We're Looking For\nHigh school diploma or GED required preferred.\n25 years of production equipment or industrial machinery operating experience preferred.\nExperience operating industrial manufacturing equipment.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand how production equipment operates.\nAbility to perform equipment setups, changeovers, and routine operational adjustments.\nAbility to recognize abnormal equipment conditions and escalate concerns appropriately.\nAbility to read and follow SOPs, batch records, work instructions, and production specifications.\nBasic math and measurement skills.\nStrong attention to detail and documentation.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a production team.\nExperience in animal health, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, feed, supplement, or other GMPregulated manufacturing environments preferred.\nPhysical & Work Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.\nAbility to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, push, and pull as required.\nAbility to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds.\nAbility to safely operate industrial manufacturing equipment.\nComfortable working around machinery, noise, powders, dust, and varying temperatures.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment.\nFlexibility to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts based on production needs.\nAbout Precision Science Inc\nWe are a full-service contract manufacturer working with top global animal heath companies and entrepreneurs.
