At ACDi, we’re more than just a contract manufacturer.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nAs the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the Quality Manager to implement, maintain and improve the quality management system (QMS).\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.\nInterface in a professional manner with all other functions within the organization and with customers and suppliers on all types of quality-related issues.\nAnalyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues with a goal of mitigating effects and preventing recurrence.\nPerform root cause analysis and preventive/corrective action activities.\nPerform risk analysis.\nPerform inspection and testing activities to determine compliance to requirements.\nDevelop and implement processes that focus on scrap and rework reduction.\nParticipate in MRB activities.\nRecommend improvements to support company quality objectives and a continual improvement philosophy.\nPerform contract/specification review activities.\nAssist purchasing department efforts in supplier quality assurance and provide input/criteria for supplier sourcing.\nProvide training to other personnel.\nCreate AS9102 first article inspection reports and any other reports, presentations, procedures, or documents required by the QMS.\nAssist in the RMA process.\nHelp ensure AS9100, ISO 9001, and ESD S20.20 compliance, including performing internal and supplier audits, and hosting auditors.\nCross-train on other QA/QC jobs to provide support and coverage during absences, peak workloads, etc.\nBe open to learning new things.\nOccasional overnight travel may be required.\nOther duties may be assigned\nSPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
