As part of our continued growth under the One Norlee platform, we are seeking a Electrician within our Specialty Projects Division.Position SummaryThe Electrician in the Specialty Projects Division is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems for high-profile, technical, or custom commercial projects. This role requires precision, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with advanced electrical systems, and specialized equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical systems for specialty projects such as schools, and universities.Pull, terminate, and test conductors, feeders, and branch circuitsInstall conduit, panels, transformers, switchgear, lighting, and specialty equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and technical specificationsPerform layout for feeders, branch circuits, and devicesTroubleshoot and repair electrical systems as requiredEnsure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and company standardsMaintain clean and organized work areas, respecting specialty project protocolsCoordinate with foremen, engineers, and other trades for seamless project executionAssist with commissioning, testing, and quality inspectionsRequired QualificationsJourneyman Electrician license (where required by jurisdiction)3+ years of commercial or specialty electrical experienceKnowledge of NEC, NFPA, and general electrical codesAbility to read and interpret complex technical drawings and schematicsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAbility to pass background checks and drug screeningPreferred QualificationsExperience with electrical systems, control panels, or custom technology integrationsOSHA-10 and OSHA-30 certificationExperience with commercial or specialty projectsFamiliarity with commissioning, testing, and quality assurance processesSkills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and technical accuracyProblem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesAbility to work independently or as part of a teamSafety-focused mindset and adherence to protocolsDependable, punctual, and professionalAdaptable to non-standard and complex project environmentsWork EnvironmentWork is primarily performed on construction sites or specialty project facilities. This may include industrial environments, active commercial buildings, or high-tech facilities requiring precision, safety protocols, and adherence to strict project standards.
