This is a long-term contract to hire with possible FTE/Perm after 12-14 months. Application Engineering BA/PMs - Remote.\r\nProject Duties Document project requirements, assist in creating process and technology solutions, create User Stories, handle UAT, and perform analysis on multiple problems\r\nOperate between the business and technology to ensure all parties are satisfied with the outcome\r\nAssist with maturing Agile Scrum environment across all platforms\r\nFacilitate backlog grooming sessions and scrum meetings\r\nEssential Responsibilities Facilitate discussions to elicit functional and technical requirements from stakeholders\r\nFacilitate / perform backlog grooming sessions and scrum meetings\r\nEngage with business users at different levels to understand business needs, analyze, document their requirements\r\nUnderstand and explain systems features and benefits of the product line as it relates to customer needs\r\nWork with developers to supplement requirement definition in consideration of technology constraints\r\nAct as the subject matter expert to clarify developer inquiries during the development phase and provide ongoing expertise to the business stakeholder\r\nCreate release notes in coordination with the development team\r\nFormalize product feature documentation thereby creating EPICs, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps (ADO)\r\nInfluences business process improvements / product roadmap\r\nAssists Engineers in debugging / troubleshooting issues involving data or the accuracy of data, in day-to-day work and production support scenarios\r\nResearches external systems as needed to reverse engineer or understand their function through data extraction and validation\r\nKnowledge, Skills, And/or Abilities The ability to work independently and within a team to identify objectives for the project\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\r\nPossess a hybrid of technical and soft skills\r\nShould have methodical & creative thought processes\r\nRequires a unique combination of business acumen, technical expertise, leadership, and communications\r\nExcellent analytical and synthesis skills\r\nProven working experience in project management\r\nProcesses and Methodologies Solid understanding of Scrum Agile key principles and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)\r\nBusiness Analysis Core Standard: the core and most fundamental practices of business analysis as described by the International institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)\r\nBacklog Grooming Practices\r\nScrum Master Ceremonies\r\nEducation And/or Experience 5+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst role\r\nStrong experience in a software development environment\r\nComprehensive knowledge of Agile / Scrum and project management tools\r\nProven experience with use case diagrams and process flow creation\r\nExceptional written and verbal communications skills are a must as documentation and discussion facilitation are a core part of the role\r\nExperience successfully working in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment\r\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\r\nExperience managing multiple projects and demands with various priorities and deadlines\r\nExperience in product support in a professional setting strongly preferred\r\nExperience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft products, and ServiceNow\r\nBachelor\\'s Degree in appropriate field of study\r\nTools Microsoft Project , Azure DevOps/TFS, MS Teams, SQL Server, Power BI\r\nBe vigilant about potential scams, phishing attempts, or fraudulent activities, and seek credible sources or reviews to assess the trustworthiness of the company.
