This role requires a Class A CDL and a minimum of 2 years of experience operating hollow-stem auger drilling equipment and performing rock coring. The Driller will support geotechnical and environmental investigations by obtaining high-quality soil and rock samples, maintaining drilling equipment, and ensuring all work meets safety and project standards.\nPay Range: Starting from USD $30.00/Hr. Responsibilities:\n\nAct as crew chief for a drilling crew, directing and performing drilling services and well installations.\nOversee the operation of testing and drilling equipment and ensure that all equipment, including jackhammers, rigs, drill, pressure washers, etc.) are maintained, functioning properly, cleaned, and always calibrated.\nCollect and conduct testing of soil, concrete, and other construction materials to project specifications.\nComplete and submit timely paperwork, reports, and presentations.\nCommunicate with dispatch, field supervisors, and other stakeholders for status reports, issues, etc.\nMaintain an assigned company vehicle (schedule oil changes, check fluid levels, inside/outside upkeep).\nReport to job sites on time, follow all safety protocols, and enter work time daily\n\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma with 5+ years of related experience (or similar combination).\nValid driver’s license, with acceptable driving record.\nBasic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Field Data Collection (FDC) software.\nStrong time management, mathematical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.\nAble to work independently and as part of a team with a focus on producing high-quality work.\nAbility to read, write, and interpret blueprints, procedures, manuals, technical documents, and reports.\nOSHA 40HR HAZWOPER, CDL, or Licensed Water Well Contractor certifications a plus.\nTravel Requirements:\nThis position requires extensive travel, approximately up to 70% of the time, in support of business objectives and client engagements. Travel may be both scheduled and on short notice, depending on project needs. Destinations typically include job sites, field locations, or regional offices, where work may be conducted in outdoor or operational environments.
