Procurement Manager

Kdc/one is currently seeking a strategic and results-driven Procurement Manager to lead our purchasing team and oversee supplier relationships. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials are available to meet production demands, enabling the organization to deliver on customer commitments and achieve financial objectives.The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to managing a dynamic supply chain environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee procurement of raw materials, components, and packaging in alignment with customer requirements, S&OP plans, and forecast projectionsMonitor supplier performance and material flow, proactively communicating risks and updates to key stakeholdersOptimize inventory levels and improve turnover while maintaining service and financial targetsCollaborate with warehouse and scheduling teams to reduce excess and obsolete inventoryEstablish and maintain appropriate safety stock levels to support operational continuityEvaluate supplier performance, ensure quality standards, and negotiate favorable termsTrack and improve supplier On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) performanceAnalyze key metrics to drive improvements in lead times, cost efficiency, and delivery reliabilityIdentify supply risks and partner with Global Sourcing to develop alternative solutionsLead, coach, and develop a team of buyers; set expectations and provide ongoing performance feedbackMonitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiativesMaintain SOPs, work instructions, and documentation in accordance with company policiesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferredMinimum 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environmentIndustry experience in cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals, or contract manufacturing preferredMinimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experienceAPICS or ISM certification preferredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BIStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEffective leadership and team development skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesDemonstrated negotiation and supplier management experienceHighly organized, detail-oriented, and results-focusedAbility to work independently and collaboratively across functionsExperience participating in S&OP and RCCP processesWorking Conditions & Physical RequirementsOffice-based role within a climate-controlled environmentRegular computer use with occasional time on the production floor (PPE required)Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionallySupervisory ResponsibilityManages and develops a team of up to 4 exempt employeesWhy Join UsThis is a high-impact role with visibility across the organization.
