Controls Engineer

Controls Engineer (100-120K) We are seeking a Controls Engineer to work for a World Class Manufacturer near the Oneida, NY area. Duties and Responsibilities:Design machine control systems using AutoCAD. Sizing and selection of VFD's, filters, motors, protection devices, PLC's, HMI's.Edit, modify, and program Allen Bradley PLC's.Manage the installation and commissioning of machinery (30% travel to local facilities).Provide technical support to maintenance (troubleshooting and upgrades). Education and Experience:BSEE, BSEET, BS in Mechatronics or related and 5+ years of experience. Will also consider multiple years of equivalent experience in lieu of formal degree.Experience with PLC's, HMI's and AutoCAD.Familiarity with National Electrical Code and machine safety standard.Candidates must be eligible to work in US without restriction indefinitely.
