Your ideas about culture, roadmaps, and technical decisions of all sizes will be highly valued. OurSoftwareEngineering Manager will love to collaborate on code andhigh levelthinking, think writing tests first is the best, and care deeply about people management.\r\nWhat Your Impact Will Look Like\r\nBe responsible for career development of engineers within your group.\r\nPerform employee management, including coaching, skills development, and performance assessment\r\nHelp engineers identify areas for improvement, create plans to improve, and execute improvements.\r\nAct as point person for hiring process for your level.\r\nOperate as an individual contributor on an engineering scrum team.\r\nCollaborate with Scrum Masters to ensure process efficiency and improve current process.\r\nOwn and evangelize development team values.\r\nExecute tactically and provide proper context to the team.\r\nFocus on long term vision and ensure technical decisions work to enable Granicus' future.\r\nEnsure shared development team responsibilities are handled.\r\nMake significant contributions outside of the Product Organization as a resource to other areas of Granicus.\r\nRepresent the Granicus Development team within Granicus and (when called upon) to clients outside of Granicus.\r\nYou Will Love This Job If You Have\r\nExperience with and passion for the agile development process.\r\nAbility to mentor engineers of all levels\r\nFull stack engineering experience. We work in Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, .NET, SQL, and React. .NET is preferred.\r\nAbility to learn new technologies and help bring your team up to speed on them.\r\nComfort when navigating a large legacy code base and ability to spin up a new project for greenfield development.\r\nProven leadership skills and proven ability to execute on projects.\r\nExperience collaborating with all the different departments needed to make software to run from Customer Support, to Operations and Platform Engineering.\r\nInterest in the technology challenges faced by government offices.\r\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.\r\nAbout Us\r\nDon't have all the skills/experience mentioned above?
