Certified Medical Assistant - Full Time

miCare is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join the team! This position is responsible for rendering care for patients of the miCare Health Center under the delegation of the miCare Practitioner(s). The CMA will also perform applicable office and clerical duties as related to the daily miCare Clinic operation. The Clinic is open between 6am-6pm Monday-Friday and some Saturdays. However you would not be working 12 hour days.Position Location: 362 N. Clovis Ave. Clovis, CA 93612Responsibilities include but are not limited to:General MA duties Utilizes Medical Assistant knowledge and skills to perform tasks under the conformance of current and recognized techniques, procedures and standards. Includes but not limited to:Office reception, including greeting patients, answering telephone, and direct calls to patientsDocumenting patients' demographics, history, symptoms and other significant information as directed by the Practitioner(s)Medication administrationAssisting with or performing proceduresSchedulingManaging patient flowPerform effective communication with miCare team and patient to ensure coordination of careCarry out Practitioner(s) orders accurately and directlyDocument provided care as requiredInventory, ordering and restocking suppliesMaintaining documentation and patient filesMaintain a functional and clean work environmentMaintain procedure manual, update as needed. Ensure consistent management to proceduresFacilitation of Health Fairs/annual HRA draws/flu shots for participating employersIn collaboration with Marketing, develop of materials for sales and marketing the miCare clinicsPresentation to potential and existing clientsRequired Experience / Education:Graduate of a certified medical assistant program 2+ years clinical MA experience with phlebotomy skillsMedical terminology proficiencyCurrent BLS certification Working knowledge of computers and software including but not limited to Microsoft Office productsStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to maintain the confidentiality of protected health information in compliance with HIPAA regulationsWhat can Imagine360 offer you?
