Each Server is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the Gibsons Restaurant Group’s philosophy, which is based upon four distinct core beliefs: Hospitality, Quality, Family and Value. The primary goal is not merely to satisfy the customer’s needs, but to overwhelm them with legendary service and quality food.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nServe customers as part of a team by anticipating their needs, initiating conversation, offering assistance and advice and remembering that “the customer is always right”!\nPerform dining room set-up, running side work and closing\nHave extensive knowledge of the restaurant’s menu and wine list, including daily\nCheck identification to ensure customers meet minimum age requirements for consuming alcoholic beverages.\nParticipate in table and dining room clean\nCompute guest checks, operate the POS system and accept\nAccurately report tips for each\nMaintain dining room safety and sanitation\nBe aware of potential hazards, which could cause, but are not limited to, slipping, tripping, falling or burns.\nArrive for each shift on time and in full\nAttend all pre-shift meetings ready to “listen and learn” and share\nAvoid leaving work area during peak\nTake breaks only when approved by the General Manager or\nKeep a clean and professional appearance at all\nMust pass general information and departmental\nMay perform other duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
