{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"65cce0bb64be65f86597af9e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/65cce0bb64be65f86597af9e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/65cce0bb64be65f86597af9e","title":"Assembler 1","description":"Duration : 12 months contract\nShift Timings: 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM (hours include unpaid 30-minute lunch)\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nWhat You Will Get to Do:\nAssemble electronic components using assembly drawings, diagrams, and job aids to meet customer requirements.\nThe candidate may perform processes including but not limited to: fine-pitch soldering of circuit card assemblies, BGA rework and repair of circuit cards, manual and automated assembly of microelectronics, electromechanical assembly, semi-rigid wire and cable harness fabrication and installation, winding and encapsulation of transformers, depending on business need and workload capacity.\nPerform all assembly work in accordance with industry and company standards.\nPerform continuity checks on in process and completed work.\nOperate basic production equipment (e.g., soldering stations, crimp tools, microscopes, ovens) in a safe and controlled manner.\nInspect work for workmanship and compliance to released build documentation; identify and help resolve nonconformances, including performing rework and repair.\nRecord production data accurately in travelers, shop floor systems, and quality records.\nCollaborate with technicians, engineers, and supervisors to clarify build instructions and suggest improvements to processes and tooling.\nFollow all safety, ESD, FOD, and cleanliness guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant work area.\nSuccessfully complete in-house workmanship criteria training classes for continued employment.\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School diploma or GED\n0 - 2 years of assembly or electronic experience\nAbility to learn new tasks.\nAbility to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds from one location to another.\nU.S. citizenship\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious or current certifications in IPC-610 and/or J-STD 001.\nAbility to solder at a Class 2 level.\nAbility to perform tasks under a microscope on very small assemblies with outstanding manual dexterity and precision.\nAbility to learn and perform tasks independent of continuous guidance, assistance, and supervision.\nDemonstrated success in working in a team environment and strong interpersonal skills.\nAbility to perform tasks from written directions and drawings.\nAbility to provide positive customer service interaction and perform assembly tasks.\nAbility to perform manufacturing/assembly tasks in a metric-based work environment.\nBasic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.\nDisclaimer: Softpath System, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer committed to diversity in our workforce.
