hands-on experience with composites part fabrication and assembly processes a plus\nExperience modeling complex surfaces\nExperience designing composite structures using ply layer maps and tables\nExperience using model based definition\nFamiliar with Enovia and PDM\nWorking knowledge of GD&T\nProblem solving skill sets\nIn-depth understanding of maintaining complex Bills of Material\nPursues all cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability\nPerforms critical path analysis and prepares and implements work-around plans to ensure the successful completion of projects\nAdditional Skills & Qualifications\nDegree in mechanical engineering or related experience\n10+ years of experience in related field\nExtensive experience in a similar role ideally within military/aerospace or similar industry\nSupervisory experience\nCollates cost data relating to the mechanical design\nEnsures the mechanical design functionally meets the user’s requirements\nProduces designs to specified deadlines and achieves the required timescales\nSets an example to the other members of the mechanical design team on how to manage designs\nConfident, proactive character, ability to take the lead in challenging situations\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nGood IT skills\nCritical thinking along with active listening\nCommitted to undertaking professional development\nCATIA V5 / Solidworks and Cameo (10,000+ hours minimum)\nGD&T experience.\nSelf-starting team player with the ability to work tight deadlines\n*Ability to obtain a secret clearance\nJob Type: Contract\nPay: $50.00 -
