Position SummaryThe Shipping & Receiving Clerk supports daily warehouse operations while assisting with basic assembly and production tasks. Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, inventory control, data entry, parts tracking, and warehouse organization.This is a fast-paced role requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work efficiently throughout the day. Approximately 75% of the shift involves standing, walking, and handling products.Inventory control is the primary focus of this position. Additional duties may include assisting with simple assembly and production support as needed. LocationSantee, CA QualificationsRequired:Pass pre-employment drug screeningPass background checkValid driver's licenseAbility to obtain forklift certificationAbility to routinely lift up to 50 lbs Experience & Skills:Minimum 3 years of experience in:WarehousingShipping & receivingInventory controlCustomer serviceProficient with:Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook preferred)Sage, QuickBooks, or similar softwareStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and under pressureStrong communication and problem-solving skillsFlexible, dependable, and quick to learnProfessional attitude with high integrity Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & InventoryMaintain accurate inventory and parts trackingOrganize and stock incoming inventoryConduct monthly and annual inventory countsMaintain a clean and safe warehouse environmentFollow all company safety proceduresShipping & ReceivingReceive, inspect, count, and inventory incoming shipmentsLabel and store incoming products appropriatelyPrepare and package outgoing shipments accurately and on timeProcess shipments through UPS, FedEx, and freight carriersPrepare bills of lading when requiredTrack incoming and outgoing shipmentsOrder & Vendor CoordinationMaintain open purchase order tracking reportsFollow up with vendors regarding shipment timelines and delaysCommunicate inventory or scheduling issues to managementProcess return material authorizations (RMAs)Coordinate replacement or repair of defective productsProduction SupportAssist with assembly of components and finished productsSupport production operations as needed ScheduleMonday – Friday5:30 AM – 2:00 PM30-minute lunch breakOvertime may be required based on workload and deadlines Position ExpectationsThis role is responsible for ensuring products are organized, accurate, and ready for production and shipment without delays.
