Monitor and observe guests' dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems.\nExplain menu items to guests, understand allergy concerns, and answer general inquiries. Maintain accurate knowledge of all menu items and beverage programs.\nBe a team player, assist others when and where necessary to ensure a seamless guest experience.\nComplete the setup and breakdown of a section, including detailed cleaning of work area and surrounding areas.\nHave a desire to build knowledge of traditional cooking, wine, beer, and cocktails.\nMaintain a safe and clean work environment.\nFundamentals\nAbility to maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.\nEducation: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).\nExperience: 2+ years experience in a fine dining or upscale casual environment.\nAbility to work 6am to 3pm shift several times a week.\nExcellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.\nProficiency in English required. A second language is desirable.\nStrong organizational skills, including follow-up, time management, ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to positively communicate and interact with all hotel departments.\nAbility to grasp, lift and or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 40 lbs.\nAbility to stand for long periods indoors with a thematically climate-controlled workstation.\nStudy Hotels is a drug-free workplace.
