Our \"work hard, play hard\" approach creates a dynamic environment that continually challenges our team members to perform their best.\nNiacc is currently recruiting for the position of Wire Harness Technician for its Clovis Business Unit.\nThe Wire Harness Technician must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications. Wire Harness Technician should be able to provide clear and concise written documentation and will be able to follow written and verbal instructions.\nWire Harness Technician will properly and safely use the tools and equipment within the shop as needed. Technician will utilize safety equipment as required for each task and keep a clean and safe work area on a daily basis.\nResponsibilities:\nAbility to perform operations in the build of wire harnesses assemblies using standard hand tools and techniques.\nAbility to fabricate wires on a Harness Board in accordance with specifications. Continuous laces, flat laces and spot ties wire into bundles and routings according to drawing requirements.\nPrepares wires by carrying out the following tasks: routes, dresses and terminates conductors to specific dimensions as specified by instructions.\nAssembles electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies and modules by working from samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists and diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets using appropriate tooling and machinery.\nComplete other duties and responsibilities as required\nPerform preliminary inspection of wiring harnesses.\nTeardown, clean, and perform in-depth inspection of wiring harness.\nRequirements:\nOrganizational skills that are conducive to maintaining neat work areas\nHighly responsive to internal and external customer requirements, with a high attention for detail\nMust work well with others and be flexible in handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment\nExcellent English communication skills, both written and verbal\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nMust be flexible to work long hours including weekends as needed\nExcellent attendance and a positive attitude\nPhysical Requirements of the job:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
