Seeking a Fleet Technician Trainee to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment.Shift: Full-Time l Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PMPay: $25.10/HourCDL Incentive Pay (Additional $1.00/per hour with active CDL A license)-Preferred but not requiredPerks and Benefits:WEEKLY PAY!Union BenefitsIncentive pay Eligibility 0.25 per T Series ASE certification -Maximum $2.00 per hourPaid Time off and holiday payCareer advancement opportunities after 6 months of employmentHealth, dental, and vision coverageReyes Rewards and referral bonusesPosition Responsibilities:Responsible for accurately inspecting, repairing and completing routine maintenance of Fleet equipmentComplete necessary documentation for repairs and maintenance while maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and repairs/inspections completed through the online AssetWorks systemLearn and assist diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools and technical manualsMaintain a safe, clean and organized work areaReplaces defective components as instructedDemonstrate ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and perform tasks in outdoor settingsAdhere to all company, local, state, and federal polices and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practicesThis position may require driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The Driver Qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse reviewOther projects or duties as assignedRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) or Technical School Certification with 0 to 2 years of related experienceYou must be at least 18 years old.Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehiclesAbility to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 poundsPreferred Education and Experience:Trade School Diploma or Certification
