Engineer","description":"About the Role\n We’re looking for a Principal-level Platform Engineer to architect the next generation of our AI-powered learning ecosystem, including our Partner API platform, Connector services, and LearnOS plugin framework.\n You'll lead core technical strategy for how external developers, enterprise partners, and AI agents (MCP + agentic frameworks) interact with the platform.\n This is a high-impact, foundational role at the intersection of APIs, integrations, agent interoperability, and large-scale distributed systems.\n Responsibilities\n \n Architect and evolve a secure, scalable external API gateway\n Build SDKs, tooling, and multi-tenant developer surfaces\n Define long-term platform extensibility strategy\n Design sandboxed plugin runtimes for real-time learning triggers\n Architect participation in MCP and emerging agent ecosystems\n Build APIs enabling agents to create study sets, track progress, trigger learning workflows, and operate autonomously\n \n Security, Governance & Compliance\n \n Implement rate limiting, permissions, auditability, and secure-by-default developer experiences\n Partner with Legal & Trust/Safety on compliance and responsible platform access\n \n Eventing, Data Exchange & Infra\n \n Design pub/sub streams for syncing learning activity across internal and external systems\n Enable consistent, real-time interactions across tools and integrations\n \n Requirements\n \n 5+ years building large-scale API, developer platform, or integration ecosystems\n Deep experience with API design, SDKs, plugin systems, multi-tenant architecture\n Expertise with agent frameworks (MCP), protocol design, LLM/AI interoperability\n Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes/containers, OAuth2, gRPC/REST,
