The person in this role will be responsible for assisting OSD R&E with stakeholder engagement, research, assessment, and technical support in transitioning key technologies to operational users.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a successful applicant to perform at the cutting edge of defense technology concepts, testing, and fielding. This role will require a combination of geospatial intelligence expertise, operational experience, communication skills, and program management.\nThis position is contingent upon contract award, with the earliest anticipated start date being September 30, 2024.\nWhat You’ll Do\nTechnology transition and working group participation\nIdentification and execution of advanced modeling & simulation capabilities to support the transition of advanced warfighting architectures for operational use and the development of capabilities needed to realize those designs\nDevelopment of strategic and technical plans\nResearch to support procurement activities, schedules, and technology/system transfer\nSupport to assessments, demonstrations, and field trials\nQuantitative analyses of system/mission requirements with respect to the insertion of advanced technologies\nAssembly of senior advisory panels to provide studies and assessments on the systems and technologies\nDefinition of test objectives and procedures\nSystems architecture development\nTravel may be required to accomplish tasks, including travel within the CONUS and OCONUS, and within the NCR to attend meetings, conferences, and training.\nRequired qualifications:\nRequired: BS in scientific or technological discipline\nA minimum of 15 years of experience as a GEOINT analyst.
