Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist position located in the Greater Boston area. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, and provide vision correction solutions, including prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses. Additional responsibilities include offering personalized patient education, maintaining accurate medical records, and working collaboratively with other team members to ensure patients receive exceptional care. Qualifications Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing ocular conditionsKnowledge of vision correction solutions, including eyeglass prescriptions, contact lens fittings, and refractive error managementStrong patient communication and education skills, emphasizing professionalism and compassionExperience in medical eye care, including the management of conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye diseaseFamiliarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and accurate patient documentation practicesDoctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry schoolSuccessful completion of all state licensing requirements for MassachusettsStrong interpersonal and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and provide a seamless patient experienceCommitment to staying current with advancements in optometric care through continuing education and ongoing professional development
