You will join our high-impact Program Management Infrastructure team, reporting to the Senior Manager, and have a direct, tangible influence on the growth and success of Fastly’s global infrastructure.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nDrive the end-to-end development and execution of build and deployment plans.\nLead complex, large-scale infrastructure projects, including new site builds, site augments, and decommissioning efforts.\nOrchestrate cross-functional collaboration between Infrastructure Acquisition Managers, Network Operations, Supply Chain, Data Center Engineering, Finance, Legal, and other partners, ensuring clear accountability and successful delivery.\nEstablish and maintain reporting frameworks to provide transparent visibility on deployment timelines, risks, and project health to stakeholders across the organization.\nProactively identify critical path bottlenecks, risks, and blockers, escalating issues with data-driven mitigation strategies.\nAnalyze project workflows to identify and implement opportunities for standardizing and automating processes, ensuring faster and more reliable infrastructure delivery.\nManage vendor and partner relationships to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of critical hardware and services.\nCollaborate as a core member of a high-impact team dedicated to building and scaling the world’s most performant edge computing network.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nProven track record of at least 5-7+ years driving large-scale infrastructure programs within cloud services, CDN, OTT, data center, or telecommunications environments.\nTechnical fluency in data center and network infrastructure architecture, including power specifications, hardware deployment, and physical layer components.\nExperience working in a Production Engineering environment with a focus on Network Engineering, Acquisition, or Delivery.\nProficiency in advanced project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet) and data visualization to track milestones and capacity.\nExperience in process analysis and improvement to drive operational efficiency and standardization.\nExperience with global capacity planning, supply chain logistics, and managing hardware deployment lifecycles.\nStrong stakeholder management, ability to navigate ambiguity, and the leadership to drive consensus across diverse engineering teams.\nExperience in incident management or post-mortem analysis to improve long-term system reliability.\nAbility to translate complex technical requirements into actionable project roadmaps for non-technical stakeholders.\n\nWe’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:\n\nPMP or other project management certification\nExperience with Dell and Hyve hardware\nExperience with Arista and Ciena networking hardware\n\nWork Hours:\n\nThis position will require you to be available during core business hours.\n\nWork Location(s) & Travel Requirements:\n\nThis position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.
