You will feel empowered to make decisions that lead to high levels of guest satisfaction and associate satisfaction.\nOur Back of House serves up hot and fresh food for every guest. To ensure a seamless experience the Back of House also ensures prep is done in a timely manner. Our Back of House is split up into 4 main positions:\n\nCook\n\nQB\n\nSauce & Toast\n\nSSW\n\nTo experience success at Slim Chickens, FOH candidates should be prepared to:\n\nPossess a thorough understanding of the menu and be able to recommend items and answer any questions that Guests may have.\n\nBe adept at running the register as well as being comfortable handling cash and credit card transactions.\n\nHelp Guests with take-out orders, as well as pre-bus and bus tables.\n\nMaintain the appearance of the restaurant from the Guests’ perspective. For example keeping: The lobby and restrooms sparkling clean, The condiment station clean and fully stocked, The parking lot free from trash, All green space presentable and inviting\n\nAll cashiers who serve alcohol must be at the legal age of alcohol service in their state/local area.\n\nTo experience success at Slim Chickens, BOH candidates should be prepared to:\n\nPossess a thorough understanding of the menu and be able to recommend items and answer any questions that Guests may have.\n\nTake pride and have a dedication to preparing and serving high quality food that is hot and fresh, accurately and with great presentation.\n\nBe a Team player and willing to help all positions execute at a high level.\n\nMaintain the appearance of the kitchen, prep, dish, walk-in, storage and outside areas.\n\nRequirements and Competencies\n\nHigh energy with a strong work ethic\n\nPersonable with a natural smile\n\nOutgoing\n\nGuest focused\n\nPositive and friendly phone presence\n\nAbility to handle pressure during peak times (lunch and dinner)\n\nWillingness to learn new technologies and procedures\n\nAbility to follow instructions\n\nAvailability to work in other areas of the restaurant as needed\n\nWell-groomed, professional appearance\n\nPositive Attitude and self-disciplined\n\nProfessional demeanor at all times\n\nWe believe in great food, served with passion, in a fast and friendly manner.
