Lawn & Tree Technician

Job Description The purpose of a Lawn Care Specialist is to provide professional and efficient lawn care services in order to keep residential and commercial properties looking well-maintained. A Lawn Care Specialist is responsible for properly caring for lawns by performing tasks such as fertilizing, aerating and seeding. They also diagnose and treat lawns for pests and diseases and provide recommendations for the best lawn care practices. Lawn Care Specialists must be knowledgeable in the safe and efficient use of lawn care equipment and must adhere to all safety regulations. Responsibilities/Requirements Providing excellent account management and customer service to a territory consisting of approximately 200-400 customers Conducting thorough assessments of the turfgrass to diagnose and deliver specific lawn care solutions customized for each client based on budget, expectations and environmental factors. Work closely with a team to ensure efficient operations, while also having the autonomy to work independently. Take care of client properties with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Interact with clients daily in a timely manner, effectively communicating the process, expectations of services needed, services performed, and recommendations for other High Caliber services required on their property. Ability to operate lawn care equipment such as Spreaders, Z sprayers, tank sprayers, aerators, verticutters 3+ years of experience in the green or agriculture industry 3A is preferred & 3B is required Knowledge of safe and effective lawn care and other horticulture practices Ability to work in all types of weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50lbs Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
