Field Technician (Entry-Level) Fort Lauderdale, FL
This entry-level position involves basic IT equipment maintenance, primarily focusing on setting up computer stations, completing work tickets, and basic troubleshooting. Responsibilities also include terminating Cat 6, Fiber, Coaxial, and RG6 Siamese cabling for voice/data and security systems in commercial environments.
Responsibilities
Follow safety procedures and job etiquette.
Pull, terminate, test, and label data cabling.
Install networking and telecommunications equipment.
Assist with building out telecommunications rooms.
Ensure job site cleanliness.
Strong problem-solving and comprehension skills required.

Checklist Completion: Ability to accurately read and follow detailed checklists to ensure all tasks are completed.
Clear Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with project managers while on-site.
Client Interaction: Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with clients, maintaining a high level of customer service.
Attention to Detail: Precision in documenting tasks and reporting issues.
Team Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills, ensuring smooth coordination with both project teams and clients during job execution.
Schedule
We offer a flexible schedule for our field technicians. As a contractor, you’ll have the freedom to accept or reject work tickets based on your availability, giving you control over your work-life balance.
Long-term contract with possible contract extension or hire
Standard work hours: Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. However, shifts may vary or change to cover changes in site status
Location: Varies within assigned region
