Our work depends on Network Engineer joining our team.HOW A NETWORK ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT● Responsible for the design and development of voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networks● Configure, deploy, and manage load balancing tools, firewalls, email security appliances, and web proxies.● Develop and implement security policies and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and organizational requirements for security policy implementation.● Monitor SecDev tools for performance and security logs to identify and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilities.● Participate in security incident response activities, including the investigation, documentation, and remediation of security incidents, for incident response.● Conduct regular network security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements for network security assessments.● Manage F5s, firewalls, email security appliances and web proxy firmware upgrades and patches to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure for upgrades and patching.● Work closely with other IT and security teams to design and implement network security solutions for collaboration.● Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of firewall configurations, changes, and network diagrams for documentation.● Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to boundary devices to ensure they are up to date with the latest security features and firmware.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science● Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience● Required Technical Skills: Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, and related protocols.● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly● Required Skills and Abilities: Experience with network security concepts and technologies● Other specific skills or competencies communication and problem solving● Location: On Site● US Citizenship Required● IAT Level II certified● Ability to work on call rotation as needed.● Work hours: 8 hours per day (Mon-Fri).
