Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionGeneral Purpose:The Senior Director of Operations provides leadership, oversight, and strategic management of operational functions across both the church and school. This role exists to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, facilities management, and campus safety while partnering with ministry and school leaders to advance the church's mission and school's educational objectives.The Senior Director of Operations works closely with the Executive Director of Operations and administrative staff to ensure all operational areas are efficient, safe, and aligned with organizational priorities.Essential Job Functions:Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop operations staffFoster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and servant leadershipEnsure operations teams are trained, equipped, and aligned with church and school visionSupport ministry leaders by providing operational guidance for programs and campus initiatives Facilities & Campus ManagementOversee maintenance, safety, and upkeep of church and school facilitiesEnsure all campuses comply with safety regulations, legal requirements, and best practicesSupervise custodial and facilities teamsManage facility use, scheduling, and logistics for programs and school activitiesSecurity & SafetyDevelop and oversee campus safety and security policies for church and schoolTrain staff on safety protocols and emergency response proceduresCoordinate security coverage for services and school programsMonitor compliance and conduct regular assessments to mitigate risksBudget & Resource OversightAssist in developing and managing the operations budget in coordination with the Executive Director of OperationsTrack expenditures and ensure responsible stewardship of resources across facilities and operational functionsProvide guidance on resource allocation and vendor managementRequirementsSpiritual & Character QualificationsA mature follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for serving the church and schoolAlignment with the doctrine, values, and culture of the organizationServant-hearted leadership, relational maturity, and problem-solving abilitiesActive participation in the life of the churchProfessional Qualifications5-10 years of leadership experience in operations, facilities, or organizational managementProven ability to manage staff and operational teams effectivelyStrong organizational, communication, and project management skillsExperience overseeing facilities, campus safety, and day-to-day operational logisticsAbility to collaborate across departments and support ministry objectivesWhat You Are Required to Know:We are an EEO employer.This is a full-time (40 hours/week) salary-exempt position.This role requires a strong presence on both church and school campuses, participation in staff meetings, and occasional on-site assessments or emergency situations.
