The Boxes, LLC commitment to hard work, innovation, quality, customer satisfaction and a “can do” attitude has enabled the company to grow to more than 200 employees and a new facility totaling more than 500,000 square feet.\nSummary: Responsible for all activities associated with running designated machine including: setup, operation, cleanup and recommending improvements to operations.\nKey Areas of Responsibilities:\nAdhere to all Safety Rules and Regulations.\nSets up and runs the pre-feeder, feeding corrugate sheets through the machine.\nReview job tickets, print cards, and quality inspection paperwork with Machine Operator.\nReads job order and mounts specified print plates or dies.\nFills dye fonts with prescribed inks or dyes.\nMakes necessary machine adjustments to allow for proper print and die cutting.\nMonitors box quality including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, damage and print.\nMaximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at the available capacity and speed. Cross trains and assist Helpers, Stackers and Bundlers with job duties on the machine.\nComplete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including, but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality/Waste Data. Communicate with Supervision when Maintenance Work Orders are needed for repairs.\nAdherence to company policies including attendance.\nOther duties may be assigned as needed.\nCompetencies:\nAbility to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.\nAbility to correctly measure and read a tape measure.\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of RPM and PDE Manufacturing software. Must be computer literate.\nRequired Education and/or Experience:\nMust have experience working in a manufacturing plant\nPrevious experience in the box or packing industry preferred\nManufacturing experience\nCNC experience\nHS Diploma or GED required\nWork Environment and Physical Demands\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
