(H&M) is a leading utility construction firm providing critical infrastructure for the Power, Communications, Oil & Gas Pipeline, and Gas Distribution markets throughout North America. H&M is seeking multiple Installers to join our team working out of our Chantilly, Virginia office.\n\nWhile working under the direction of a team lead or foreman, the ideal candidate for the Installer position will possess 1-3 years’ experience in structured cabling and promote a safe working environment.\nResponsibilities:\nPrimarily responsible for assisting in multiple aspects of cable installation including pathways, rough-in, closet build-out, cable terminations, labeling, grounding, trouble-shooting and testing.\nAbility to complete tasks with a high degree of quality and efficiency.\nEmbrace H&M’s safety culture by following safe work practices and policies.\nAbility to read and interpret drawings, floor plans, specifications and cut sheets.\nAssist with basic job site organization and housekeeping.\nAssist with other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\n1-3 years of structured cabling experience required.\nDemonstrated ability to exhibit a positive attitude and be a team player.\nAbility to meet deadlines, listen and follow instructions.\nMust be able to stoop, kneel, or crouch.\nMust be able to climb ladders and perform the necessary tasks while on the ladder.\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs. and carry 25 lbs.\nIndustry Certifications a plus.
