Performs in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs or DOD collateral classified programs. Serves as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) or a Security Representative. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security rules (DoD Manuals/JSIG), SCI security rules (ICD) or DOD security rules (NISPOM). Works closely with U. S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations. Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program. Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners. Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.\n\nAs an associate, you will be responsible for supporting the security efforts of the F-35 program. This will involve controlling and managing unclassified and classified material, as well as providing physical security for multiple Special Access Program Facilities. You will also be responsible for controlling access and badging to all F-35 areas in specified facilities, providing escort services when required, and assisting in the planning and execution of program security operations and procedures related to Special Access Program Facilities. Additionally, you will aid and support classified meetings and may be required to provide security briefings as necessary. Your responsibilities will also include managing personnel files, including visitor access requests, program access requests, and file reviews. You will perform other security duties as necessary and provide support to other Special Access Programs Facilities as needed. This position will primarily be assigned to Second Shift. On occasion, incumbents will be required to work first‑ or second‑shift assignments and adhere to non‑standard schedules that differ from the primary shift for which they were hired and could include weekends due to mission requirements.\n\nAdditionally, occasional business travel—including deployment and detachment support in demanding or austere environments—may be mandated to sustain F‑35 security operations outside MCAS Cherry Point. May be required to work at deployed locations, work rotating shifts, and work in excess of 40 hours per week.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nFinal transferable SECRET clearance with closed investigation date within 5 years or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program with the ability to maintain a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI if/when mission requirements dictate.\n\nMust be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAP’s)\n\nExperience providing oversight to multi-functions of security, such as Personnel Security (PERSEC), Operational Security (OPSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), and Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA).\n\nIn-depth knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.7 and Volume 4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.\n\nExperience working on Special Access Programs.\n\nFamiliar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.\n\nOutstanding written and verbal communication skills.\n\nFamiliarization with Defense Information Security System (DISS).\n\nProficient user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excell and Access and other Microsoft Office applications.\n\nDesired Skills\n\nKnowledge and experience authoring Standard Operating Procedures / Facility Operating Procedures (SOP / FOP) documents.\n\nKnowledge and experience executing Self-Inspection’s (SI) and executing preparations for Higher Headquarters Compliance Inspection.
