Maine Medical CenterNursingReq #: 78062Temporary/DaysThe Adult Acute Care Unit (MS3) is a 56 Bed / 36 Telemetry - Medical / Surgical unit with a concentration on complex adult patient populations from a wide variety of cardiac, pulmonary, GI, post-surgical, and orthopedics. Develop and utilize advanced organizational, prioritization, communication, and leadership skills while working closely with other healthcare professionals in a team-oriented work environment.Med Surg, Adult Acute Care (MS3)Short Term, Temporary position -This is a one-time, 13-week assignment.This position is not eligible for benefits.Pay commensurate with that of a travel assignment.Full time (36 hours per week)DAY Shift (7:00am - 7:00pm)Incumbents are eligible to apply for regular employment with a MaineHealth Entity following completion of assignment if position matching skill sets is available.To be eligible for consideration* Must be separated from a MaineHealth facility for greater than 12 months.* Minimum of 1 year of relevant experienceSummary:The Registered Nurse - Temporary role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or mustobtainwithin30 days of start date. ICU, SCU, ED and PACU RN's require ACLS and PALS Certifications within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines.
