In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) in support of classified government contracts.\nResponsibilities:\nInterpret and implement government security requirements in support of classified and commercial contracts\nEngage with Cognizant Security Authority (CSA) & the Government Contracting Authority (GCA) to ensure critical National Security Information (NSI) is protected in accordance with policy and expectations.\nProvide development and oversight of all aspects of program security for collateral and SCI programs.\nSupport Maxar’s overall program security posture to ensure compliance with corporate and government regulations.\nContribute to developing improved processes and protocol and implementing new ideas with security management\nImplement all aspects of a security program to include DD-254s, Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), security processes, security education and awareness program, etc.\nSafeguard and account for classified materials in accordance with the NISPOM\nProcess incoming and outgoing classified visit requests\nPartner with cross-departmental management to coordinate security initiatives in line with the overall business strategy and an emerging perspective focusing on security\nAct in an Alternate COMSEC Custodian role\nMinimum Requirements:\nMust be a U.S. citizen with active Top Secret clearance and be willing and able to obtain SCI accesses and successfully pass a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph\nDemonstrated knowledge of national security policies, to include (but not limited to): ICDs, NISPOM, Executive Orders, customer specific directives and instructions, Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs), etc.\nExperience as an appointed Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) or Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) or Facility Security Officer (FSO)\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or three (3) years experience with a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.\nFamiliarity with National Industrial Security System (NISS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Scattered Castles, Security information Management System (SIMS) and other security databases.\nUnderstanding of the DD-254 process and management\nPreferred Requirements:\nCurrent/active TS/SCI\nExperience as a COMSEC Custodian\nOur salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience.
