There are no limits to where you can take your career.Job SummaryThe HSE Advisor is responsible for administering environmental, health, safety, export compliance, and site security programs within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures full compliance with applicable regulatory and trade requirements, supports Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems, and promotes a culture of safety, security, and continuous improvement across the site.Job ResponsibilitiesEnvironmental, Health, and Safety (HSE)Lead incident response, investigation, and reporting for environmental and safety related events, including near missesDevelop, implement, and monitor Environmental, Health and Safety training programs to ensure site wide complianceCoordinate all HSE training activities, including scheduling, communication, and record retentionAdminister the HSE Learning Management System, including training assignments, record maintenance, and content updatesMaintain accurate records for incidents, corrective actions, and regulatory complianceEnsure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and ADEM requirementsPrepare and submit regulatory reports, including Tier II, TRI, and other required filingsExport Compliance and Site SecurityEnsure adherence to import and export regulations, including customs laws, trade agreements, tariff classifications, and licensing requirementsReview import and export documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, customs declarations) for accuracy and compliance risk mitigationValidate tariff applicability and classification for import and export transactionsSupport implementation of export control requirements, including Technology Control Plans (TCP), required markings, and training coordinationAssist with visitor management systems and export compliance tools (e.g., iLobby)Support site badging administration and access control processesMaintain audit ready records for export compliance, security, and regulatory requirementsSystems, Reporting, and Site SupportMaintain and continuously improve ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, including audits and corrective action processesPrepare reports, presentations, and documentation in support of HSE and compliance activitiesCoordinate safety meetings and provide administrative support to site HSE initiativesServe as a point of contact for employee, contractor, and vendor training inquiriesEnsure availability of HSE resources, including PPE, tools, and safety materialsSupport leadership with risk assessments, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiativesJob QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related disciplineMinimum of 3 years of experience in environmental, health, safety, or related functions within a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of OSHA General Industry 1910 standardsFamiliarity with import and export regulations, trade compliance, or customs processes preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environmentStrong communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skillsMust be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements, with ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance if needed.
