We offer a challenging and rewarding environment for personal and professional growth, with a focus on loyalty, service, quality and integrity, and relationships as part of our culture.\n\nGRAEF has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer in our Sarasota, FL office.\n\nThis role is ideal for a Senior Structural Engineer who enjoys a technical design role, working on a wide variety of building projects including healthcare, higher education, multi-family, hospitality, commercial and renovation projects, as well as managing and leading projects, and assisting in developing business for the structural discipline.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProject oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management, as well as hands-on involvement in the design process on an extensive array of projects.\n\nMentor less-experienced structural staff.\n\nManage and lead projects.\n\nDevelopment of proposals and tracking potential projects and clients, playing a key role in business development activities that would continue building our backlog in FL.\n\nMinimum qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
