Quality ManagerLocation: Onsite – Newark, CACompensation: $130 – $150,000 + full benefitsOverviewWe’re seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality strategy and execution within a high-performance manufacturing environment. This role sits at the intersection of operations, engineering, and leadership, with responsibility for ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the business.This is a hands-on leadership role—you’ll shape quality systems at a strategic level while also driving day-to-day execution, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and drive a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with operational and business goalsLead and develop the Quality function, including team performance, capability building, and succession planningMaintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirementsAct as the primary quality representative for customers, auditors, and external partnersOversee nonconformance, CAPA, and root cause analysis processes, ensuring long-term corrective actions are effectiveImplement and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methodologiesPartner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to integrate quality into product development and manufacturing processesLead supplier quality programs, including qualification, performance monitoring, and corrective actionsSupport new product introduction (NPI) and product lifecycle activities to ensure quality is embedded from design through productionRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred)7+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, ideally within electronics, semiconductor, or similar environmentsStrong background managing QMS frameworks (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485 or similar)Experience leading audits, compliance efforts, and customer quality interactionsDeep knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CAPA, 8D, etc.)Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement initiatives in a production environmentExperience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain teamsProven leadership ability with strong communication and stakeholder management skillsWhat They’re Looking ForA leader who can own quality end-to-end, not just maintain systemsSomeone who balances strategic thinking with hands-on executionAbility to influence across functions and drive accountabilityStrong problem-solver who focuses on root cause and long-term solutions, not quick fixesWhy This RoleHigh visibility position with broad organizational impactOpportunity to shape and evolve quality practices in a growing environmentStrong collaboration across engineering, operations, and leadership teamsCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package
