Machinist

We are currently looking for a skilled Machinist to work in an OEM manufacturing facility. As a manufacturer of laser workstations, we are seeking someone with attention to detail that can work in a small but fast-paced manufacturing facility. We work with a variety of different materials. (Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Plastics, etc.) This role will produce precision parts using manual and automated equipment. Job Requirements Set up, run Manual machines. (manual lathes, milling machines) Measure parts according to prints and work instructions. Operate manual and automatic surface grinders. Set up, run CNC mills and lathes (make offsets according to machining conditions) Check work for proper dimensions and visual defects. Be able to work with minimal supervision. Be able to work as a team or on your own. Be able to work with minimal supervision. Must have your own Machinist tools. Follow all company requirements. Maintain clean work area. Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in using manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines. (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.) Programming is not required but is a plus. Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements.
