We are looking for a Process Engineer to join the team. The Process Engineer will plan, manage, and coordinate projects and processes using the latest technologies to develop new processes, improve production efficiencies and resolve manufacturing challenges. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is based out of our Lonoke, Arkansas office.\nKey Responsibilities Initiate process changes and improvements, maintain process records and drawings.\nTroubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.\nIdentify root causes and implement corrective actions.\nAnalyzes operational data such as production costs, process flow charts and production schedules to determine efficient utilization of employees, tooling, supplies, and equipment.\nRecommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste.\nWork effectively and collaboratively with a cross discipline team.\nInitiate and lead engineering projects including cost improvements and capital projects.\nWrite technical reports and present them to management and other interested parties.\nEffectively communicate with manufacturing personnel and management.\nRegularly interact with and provide technical guidance to manufacturing and shop personnel.\nAssists in training production personnel in work instruction and procedures.\nUnderstand product specifications and interpret test data.\nUnderstand how manufacturing processes affect the performance characteristics of the product.\nRequired Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering/Science discipline\nStrong mechanical aptitude\nExcellent organizational, communication, project management and teamwork skills\nExceptional problem solving ability\nFamiliarity with manufacturing operations and lean principles\nHands on experience with machining and manufacturing equipment\nSolidWorks or CAD\nInfrequent travel required\nPreferred Knowledge and experience with ammunition, handloading, hunting, shooting, and firearms\nMetallurgical knowledge of copper alloys and tool steels/carbides\nExperience in metal forming and/or high volume manufacturing\nExperience with tool and fixture design\nExperience with cold heading\nWork Environment Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives.
