Working in a collaborative and innovative project team, with direct client-facing interactions, you will have an opportunity to apply your skills and expertise to design innovative applications that solve complex problems and enhance performance and productivity at our marquis clients.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nLead product teams, making informed technical decisions and translating vision and strategy into actionable tasks.\nInterface with senior technical and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.\nEstablish efficient development processes, quality frameworks, and routine automation, utilizing modern tools to accelerate engineering.\nWork with modern technologies including Java, the Spring ecosystem, databases, distributed applications, containerization, and deployments.\nDemonstrate a deep understanding of modern cloud providers' capabilities, preferably Azure, and an understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud setups.\nWhat you should have:\n10+ years of engineering experience, preferably in the financial domain.\n5+ years of experience leading teams in product development environments.\nProven experience in adopting, justifying, and driving technical decisions.\nStrong understanding of efficient development processes, quality frameworks, and automation.\nProficiency in Java, the Spring ecosystem, databases, and distributed applications.\nExperience with containerization and deployment technologies.\nDeep understanding of modern cloud providers, preferably Azure, and hybrid/multi-cloud setups.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with senior stakeholders.\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nWhy Lab49?\nLab49 is an established partner for most financial institutions on Wall Street.
