The Compliance and Operations Coordinator is a key role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of training programs, compliance initiatives, and department activities. This position requires strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Coordinator will work closely with team members and other departments to facilitate smooth workflows, effective communication, and ensure that all projects and tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, tracking timelines and deliverables to ensure that all objectives are met within the specified time frame.
Provide general administrative support, including managing correspondence, preparing reports, handling documentation, and maintaining records.
Conduct research and gather information to support department projects and goals.
Assist in the coordination and scheduling of events, workshops, training sessions, or compliance initiatives, including logistics, materials preparation, and participant communication.
Upload and organize training content utilizing the Dayforce Learning platform (LMS).
Track training participation and maintain accurate records of employee training history, certifications, and compliance activities.
Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring that information is properly filed, organized, up to date, and easily accessible.
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on training completion, compliance metrics, and other key performance indicators.
Organize and maintain schedules for the team or department, including arranging meetings, appointments, and events.
Assist in the management of resources such as materials, equipment, and staff to ensure they are used efficiently and effectively.
Act as a point of contact between the team, other departments, and external stakeholders, facilitating clear and effective communication to ensure alignment and resolve any issues promptly.
Identify opportunities for improving workflows and processes within the team or department and suggest and implement changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 2 to 4 years experience in coordination, administrative, or similar role.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS).
Discretion to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Prior experience within the educational field is preferred.
