The ISSE will be responsible for supporting Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities and ensuring systems satisfy applicable security requirements required for accreditation.\n\nThis position requires an experienced security professional capable of working with technical and program stakeholders throughout the system accreditation process.\n\nJob Duties\n\nSupport Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities for new systems.\n\nCoordinate security accreditation efforts throughout the system lifecycle.\n\nSupport the preparation and review of information required for system accreditation.\n\nWork with technical teams to identify and address security requirements associated with new systems.\n\nTrack security-related requirements and accreditation activities through completion.\n\nCoordinate with technical and program stakeholders throughout the A&A process.\n\nAssist teams in resolving security issues that could affect system accreditation.\n\nMaintain documentation supporting system security and accreditation activities.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nActive TS/SCI with polygraph.\n\n7+ years of relevant information systems security experience.\n\nExperience supporting Assessment and Authorization (A&A) or system accreditation activities.\n\nExperience supporting the security requirements of new systems.\n\nAbility to work with technical and program stakeholders throughout the accreditation process.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nWorking at Edgesource\n\nAs an ISO 9001:2015 certified and CMMI Level 3 appraised small business, Edgesource specializes in providing a variety of technical solutions to include software development, database services, enterprise networking, data center virtualization, and management support.
