Join us.\n\nJob Description\n\nAECOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager to be located in Mill Valley, CA.\nJob Duties to include:\nManages, oversees and coordinates all facets of the pre-construction, bid and award, construction and close-out phase of all assigned projects\nReviews pre-construction documents and submits comments to Designer as necessary\nPlans, organizes, and prepares reports to upper management with respect to the status and/or progress of the projects\nCoordinates with all pertinent public agencies during pre-construction and construction to comply with all off-site work, coordinates with various District and Project staff\nManages both the project budget and schedule to meet the District’s qualitative standards monitors the project budget on a monthly basis and ensures that the budget accurately reflects the project status/progress\nManages daily activities of the contractor, reviews contract construction schedules submittals and coordinates responses to the contractors’ inquiries and other related documents\nReviews substitution submittals from contractors to ensure specification and/or District requirements are complied with\nReceives, reviews, and negotiates Contractor Change Order Proposal(s) to achieve a fair & reasonable price in accordance with the General Conditions; reviews and addresses any and all Schedule impacts in accordance with the project specifications in a timely manner\nReviews the process and monitors payments for the contractor, architects, engineers and any other pertinent parties\nPosition has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.\nAdministers provisions of Professional Service Agreements between Architects and the District\nCoordinates District delivery of related fixtures, furniture and equipment\nProvides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.\nProvides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.\nMonitors and manages project close-out with respect to project certification with the Division of State Architects (DSA) and project financial close out\nPerform other related duties as assigned\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nBA/BS + 4 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with the Division of State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes\nExperience with landfill site construction and State and Local Agency coordination\nExperience in managing multiple projects concurrently; proficiency in managing construction on active educational facilities\nExperience with Division of State Architect (DSA) Design and Construction processes\nK-14 Project Experience\nLease Lease Back Experience\n\nAdditional Information\n\nSponsorship is not available for this role\nAbout AECOM\nAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
