The position ensures the delivery of high-quality, culturally specific, and age-appropriate academic support, enrichment, social-emotional development, and light information and referral services for students and families.\n\nThe Program Manager directly supervises SUN Community School staff and serves as a key liaison between EPHC, school and district leadership, community partners, students, and families. This position builds and maintains strong school-community partnerships, supports staff development and implementation of EPHC policies and program practices, monitors program quality and outcomes, and ensures contractual, grant, and district obligations are met.\n\nPrinciple Duties & Responsibilities:\n\nContract Management & Site Leadership\n\nManage program related contracts, including:\nSUN Community Schools\nEarly Childhood: Early Kindergarten Transition and P-3 programs\nOther contracts and programs as assigned.\nOversee SUN Community School programming, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with EPHC, SUN, grant, and community requirements.\nMonitor site operations, participation, outcomes, and program quality; address challenges and support continuous improvement.\nDevelop improvement plans to adjust program delivery as necessary.\n\nFinancial management\n\nOversee assigned staff to manage contract expenses and meet budget expectations.\nProvide necessary information to Finance department to invoice contract expenses.\nSupervise the administration of client assistance funds according to contract guidelines.\nParticipate in annual EPHC budget development process.\n\nProgram Compliance, Data & Evaluation\n\nOversee the completion of accurate data entry and recordkeeping (databases, electronic, and paper files) as required by law, funders, and EPHC.\nEnsure all participant intakes, ROIs, and other required documents adhere to funder and EPHC standards/guidelines\nPrepare all required reports, as required by funders and EPHC.\nDevelop and coordinate evaluation of assigned projects.\n\nSchool & Community Partnerships\n\nMaintain effective coordination and communication with assigned funder liaison and related staff.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with school and district leaders, staff, families, and community partners.\nServe as EPHC’s liaison with school partners and represent SUN in relevant meetings and collaborations.\nConduct regular scheduled meetings with school principals and district liaisons.\n\nStaff Supervision & Development\n\nLead and oversee recruitment, hiring, training, and evaluation of assigned program staff.\nDirectly supervise, coach, and support SUN Site Managers.\nSet clear expectations, monitor performance, support professional development, and address performance concerns as needed.\nSupervise and support staff to successfully carry out their assignment and support professional development.\nFacilitate regular program team meetings to build and maintain a strong team.\n\nGeneral Responsibilities\n\nAttend scheduled program meetings with funders, school districts, and community.\nActively participate in leadership, department, and all-staff meetings.\nEnsure EPHC’s policies and procedures are communicated and followed.\nAddress program incident reports.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications & Requirements:\n\nAbility to communicate concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English.\nBachelor’s degree in child development, Education, Social Work, or related field AND a minimum of 1 year of experience OR the equivalent of 5-8 years of qualifying training and/or experience\nPrevious experience as a SUN Site Manager, or Extended Day Coordinator required.\nA minimum of 1 year of previous supervisor experience required.\nDemonstrated experience in facilitating trainings and community presentations.\nBudget management experience preferred.\nExperience and knowledge working with and organizing in Latinx/Communities of Color.\nDemonstrate judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.\nProficient in all Microsoft Office products and working knowledge of Zoom, GoogleMeets, Teams, etc.\nMust be able to organize/prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, follow through, and have a high attention to detail\nStrong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work well both independently and in team setting; adapt well to dynamic work environment.\n\nOther Requirements:\n\nMust be available to work afterschool-hours for program coverage (3pm-6:30pm).\nAbility to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekends to support SUN program, parent meetings, after school events.\nOccasional travel for trainings, community partner meetings, and funder meetings.\nMust have driver’s license, access to vehicle and automobile insurance at levels required by agency (100/300/100).\nSatisfactory results from civil, criminal, and motor vehicle background check required.\n\nCompensation: $66,000-$70,000 annually.
