divh21st Shift CPP Cutting Operator/h2pIsola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a 1st Shift CPP Cutting Operator at our Chandler, AZ Location./ppSchedule: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Monday to Friday/ppCompensation: $20.75 per hour/ph3The Role/h3pThe CPP Cutting Operator is responsible for operating the Rosenthal or USUN Machine that fabricates prepreg rolls into sheets. This position is also responsible for the timely transfer of fabricated prepreg sheets in preparation for the tooling process. The CPP Cutting Operator is a B level position. B level positions are responsible for cross-training on A-B level positions within the CPP/Collation department./ph3Who Will Love This Job/h3ulliAn efficient worker, you enjoy having multiple priorities at one time and multitask without breaking a sweat/liliA great teammate, you are able to contribute and thrive within a fast-paced environment/liliA task-oriented teammate, you find deep satisfaction from independently checking things off your to do list/li/ulh3Top Responsibilities/h3ulliReview and understand work orders./liliVerify information against customer profiles./liliSet-up prepreg rolls onto machine following proper procedures./liliEnter length specifications in machine and adjust slitters to the required width of the panels./liliMake any necessary adjustments including speed and air pressure as per procedure to ensure accurate cuts./liliRemove fabricated prepreg sheets from machine, stack accordingly, and move product to tooling area./liliInspect prepreg sheets for quality issues and take appropriate corrective action when needed./liliRelocate unused prepreg rolls back to staging area for restocking./liliMeet daily productivity requirements./liliComplete Production and Scrap Report form as needed./liliMaintain clean work area including vacuuming of dust after each roll and blade change./liliAssist other operators to ensure timely shipment of product./liliUse Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies to improve the process./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required./liliBe able to Read and Write English/liliSix Months of Manufacturing Experience/liliPrevious experience using a PC./liliAbility to work in a fast-paced environment/liliBasic Math./liliForklift Experience Plus/liliAbility to Stand for 8 hours/liliMust be able to lift 50 pounds./li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliStrong verbal and written communication skills/liliAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing/liliProficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication is essential/li/ulh3Physical Requirements/h3ulliAbility to stand up to 10 hours per shift with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping/liliAbility to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds/li/ul/div
