The squad's goal is to create, enhance and maintain Versana's real-time syndicated loan platform. The application front-end presents a streamlined interface which provides clients access to real-time loan data and positions.\r\nThe Full Stack Software Engineer will work closely with seasoned technology leaders and colleagues with broad and varied backgrounds in a dynamic, agile environment. You must have a passion for building intuitive applications and a strong understanding of front-end technologies and best practices. You must also have experience in designing, developing, and deploying secure, performant, and scalable backend services in a cloud environment. You will play a key role in all stages of Versana's data platform development, from ideation through deployment and support.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDevelop and own front and back-end applications for our platform.\r\nWork with Product and UX to address client needs with high-impact and high-visibility solutions.\r\nWrite clean, maintainable and well-documented code.\r\nBuild test automation across the full stack of our software.\r\nOptimize the applications for performance and scalability.\r\nDevelop and maintain our design system.\r\nHelp set up the technical foundation and culture for the Application Development squad.\r\nHelp onboard and mentor new team members.\r\nPeriodically work outside standard business hours, such as during infrastructure upgrades and/or releases.\r\nAdditional duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably assigned from time to time as operational needs evolve.\r\nMust Have\r\nBS or BA in Computer Science or related field.\r\n5+ years of full stack development experience (backend with Java/Spring Boot, front-end with React/Angular (TypeScript/JavaScript)).\r\nGood understanding of application architecture and performance optimization.\r\nAdeptness at using build and development tools (Git, Maven/Gradle, Artifactory).\r\nExperience with REST APIs and GraphQL.\r\nExperience working with Databases (SQL and NoSQL).\r\nAbility to partner with multi-functional teams and pivot quickly.\r\nCuriosity and willingness to learn new things.\r\nStrong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.\r\nNice to Have\r\nKnowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.\r\nEnd-to-end testing knowledge (Cypress/Selenium/Cucumber etc.).\r\nExposure to third-party libraries (AG grid, D3 etc.).\r\nFamiliarity with design systems (UI components, animations/transitions, accessibility).\r\nExperience with public cloud computing.\r\nKnowledge of Syndicated Loans or Leveraged Finance.\r\nHistory of building enterprise application software within financial domain.\r\nAdditional Information\r\nThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals in this role.
