MadgeTech is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to enhance the production of our data logger products. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and improving the manufacturing processes of our data logger products. This role involves working closely with the production team to ensure high-quality output, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data logger systems that meet specified. Develop and refine manufacturing processes for the production of data loggers. Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations. Oversee the creation of prototypes for new data logger models. Conduct tests and evaluations to assess the functionality and performance of prototypes. Coordinate the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production. Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes. Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data loggers. Develop testing protocols and conduct quality inspections during the manufacturing process. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to design specifications, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. Update documentation as needed to reflect changes or improvements. Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Provide technical support to other departments, such as sales and customer support. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data logger technology. Ensure that all manufacturing processes adhere to relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Stay informed about changes in regulations and adjust processes accordingly. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in electronics or data logger production. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment. Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with ERP systems. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies a plus, Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
