The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and improving the manufacturing processes of our data logger products. This role involves working closely with the production team to ensure high-quality output, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design data logger systems that meet specified.\nDevelop and refine manufacturing processes for the production of data loggers.\nEnsure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.\nOversee the creation of prototypes for new data logger models.\nConduct tests and evaluations to assess the functionality and performance of prototypes.\nCoordinate the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production.\nWork closely with production teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes.\nImplement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data loggers.\nDevelop testing protocols and conduct quality inspections during the manufacturing process.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation related to design specifications, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.\nUpdate documentation as needed to reflect changes or improvements.\nCollaborate with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.\nProvide technical support to other departments, such as sales and customer support.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.\nStay updated on industry trends and advancements in data logger technology.\nEnsure that all manufacturing processes adhere to relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.\nStay informed about changes in regulations and adjust processes accordingly.\nAll other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's or Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.\nProven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in electronics or data logger production.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.\nProficiency in CAD software and familiarity with ERP systems.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies a plus,\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nStrong project management and organizational abilities.\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.\nMadgeTech offer competitive health benefits.
