We're looking for a Controller to lead our accounting operations and drive financial excellence. In this key leadership role, you'll oversee month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, payroll accounting, cash management, audits, and internal controls while partnering with operations and leadership teams to support business growth. If you're passionate about building strong teams, improving processes, and turning financial data into actionable insights, we want to hear from you.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\r\nLead, coach, develop, and hold the accounting team accountable for performance, accuracy, timeliness, professionalism, and cross-functional service.\r\nEnsure the timely and accurate processing of all accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management.\r\nLead the month-end close process, including oversight of balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparation.\r\nManage weekly cash flow forecasting and cash management activities.\r\nMaintain accurate financial records and ensure timely preparation of financial reports.\r\nPerform Profit & Loss analysis, variance analysis, and other ad hoc financial analyses.\r\nSupport cost accounting, inventory accounting, and FP&A activities through accurate cost analysis and operational insights.\r\nAssist with monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and cost management initiatives.\r\nEnsure effective internal controls are established and maintained in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.\r\nServe as the primary contact for internal, external, and SOX audits.\r\nCoordinate and oversee corporate reporting requests, including support for tax preparation, quarterly filings, annual filings, and other corporate financial reporting requirements.\r\nPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Finance Leadership, and Site Leadership to provide accounting expertise, operational analysis, and financial information for planning and decision-making.\r\nLeadership and team development\r\nAccountability and ownership\r\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\r\nActive listening and interpersonal effectiveness\r\nCross-functional collaboration\r\nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving\r\nSound judgment and decision-making\r\nAbility to present information clearly to employees, managers, leadership, and external stakeholders\r\nAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information\r\nExcellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and accuracy\r\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\r\nRequired Education and Experience\r\nBachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year university\r\n10+ years of progressive accounting experience\r\n5+ years of accounting leadership or managerial experience\r\nPreferred Education and Experience\r\n5+ years of accounting experience within a public company environment\r\n5+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment\r\nFull medical, dental, vision, life, AD&DD, and short-term disability insurance coverage\r\nPaid vacation and personal days\r\n401(k) retirement plan with company match\r\nEmployee stock purchase program\r\nAnnual profit-sharing bonus\r\nTuition reimbursement to support your educational goals\r\nIdeal Candidate\r\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting leader with strong technical accounting knowledge, manufacturing experience, proven leadership skills, and a passion for building processes, developing teams, and partnering with operations to drive business performance.\r\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
