DescriptionWe're looking for a hands-on Systems Engineer with experience in the requirementsmanagement, design for manufacturing, hardware/software development for hardware test.Key job responsibilitiesWe are looking for an engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with ademonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively: Develop software/scripting test setups and supporting hardware for various subsystem validationof the satellite bus Develop and test manufacturing software updates Support and organize the release of the software and hardware system documents through gatereviews Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues during prototype and production builds A day in the lifeYou will tackle challenging problems every day and have the opportunity to work with multipletechnical teams to solve problems and satisfy your customers. You should becomfortable with a minor degree of ambiguity and relish the idea of solving problems that haven'tbeen solved before.Basic QualificationsExperience programming with at least one modern language, Python is preferredExperience in automating, deploying, and supporting manufacturing test infrastructureExperience with software development on Windows/Linux OSBachelor's or Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant workExperienceAdditional Skills & Qualificationselectrical engineering physics, Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant work experienceStrong Communication skillsIdeal candidates should not be afraid of working in dark rooms with equipment and must be willing to learn optical communication technologies.While optical communication experience is rare and considered nice-to-have, the team prioritizes candidates who are adaptable and willing to learn new technologies.No major resume disqualifiers were identified beyond the export control requirement.We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
