The Inventory Control Analyst II also monitors and updates the master schedule to reflect inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting, and administrative controls. Analyzes inventory levels, production speed, product demand, and shipment schedules to determine the reorder levels to ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs. In addition, maintains and updates the inventory system.\r\nEssential Duties And Responsibilities\r\nUpdate and maintain inventory system for raw materials and finished goods.\r\nMonitor and update the master schedule, either directly or through the scheduling department.\r\nReview and report daily inventory adjustments and changes.\r\nAudit operational processes and compliance procedures.\r\nRecommend process changes or system enhancements based on findings.\r\nResolve inventory discrepancies, operational challenges, and inter-company transfer issues.\r\nResponsible for transacting inventory, which may include, but is not limited to, scrap transactions, issuing material to production orders, inventory adjustments, cycle count variances, Bill of Material (BOM) maintenance, etc.\r\nInventory trend analysis will include forecasting inventory levels, reconciliation of inventory variances, assisting in determining appropriate inventory levels related to manufacturing volume changes, and any other tasks assigned by leadership.\r\nGatekeeper for the open purchase order report.\r\nReconcile inventory inaccuracies and establish countermeasures to mitigate future problems.\r\nEstablish kitting requirements for the selected material.\r\nPrepare weekly, monthly, and annual summaries related to inventory accuracy.\r\nParticipation and support of lean activities to include GEMBA walks.\r\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities\r\nKnowledge of MS Office applications as needed to satisfactorily perform work assignments – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint as well as the ability to learn company enterprise systems as needed.\r\nMust be organized, able to prioritize, set and keep deadlines, change direction quickly, and adapt to various work environments easily.\r\nStrong ability to work independently and at times discreetly, use sound judgment, and make thoughtful decisions in a timely manner.\r\nExcellent communication skills, including verbal and written, including following instructions.\r\nMust be able to work effectively in group settings through collaborative, solutions-oriented, and win-win approaches.\r\nEducation And/or Experience\r\n2 – 4 years' experience with purchasing, inventory, or related functions.\r\nBachelor's degrees in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related area.\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nMust be able to perform within physical requirements including, but not limited to 40 lb. single lift; walking, kneeling, squatting, and standing for long periods of time.\r\nWork Environment/Conditions\r\nOffice environment\r\nCalifornia Residents Notice\r\nEffective January 1, 2020, pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (as amended, the \"CCPA\"), if you are a California resident, you may have certain additional rights.
