Our research focuses on understanding plant-derived bioactive compounds and proteins and their impact on food allergy, immune responses, and allied disorders, with the goal of developing novel diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic strategies.\n\nWe are seeking a highly motivated Project Scientist to join our translational research program. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and execution of innovative research projects bridging basic science and clinical applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on advancing scientific discoveries toward therapeutic and diagnostic solutions.\nThe Project Scientist will lead and support experimental studies, develop and optimize research methodologies, analyze complex datasets, and contribute to scientific publications, grant applications, and collaborative research initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, plan, and execute translational research studies to support program objectives.\nDevelop, optimize, and validate experimental protocols.\nConduct immunology-, cell biology-, and organoid-based experiments.\nPerform flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, and related analyses.\nAnalyze and interpret experimental data using appropriate statistical methods.\nPrepare reports, presentations, manuscripts, and grant-related documents.\nCollaborate with investigators, clinicians, and research staff across multidisciplinary teams.\nMaintain accurate and detailed experimental records.\nAssist in mentoring research staff, trainees, and students.\nEnsure compliance with institutional policies, laboratory safety standards, and regulatory requirements.\nContribute to research strategy, troubleshooting, and continuous laboratory improvement efforts.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nPh.D. in Life Sciences, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.\nStrong background in experimental design, execution, and data analysis.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple research projects simultaneously.\nStrong scientific writing and presentation skills.\nRecord of peer-reviewed publications and scientific productivity.\nExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in one or more of the following areas:\nOrganoid culture and 3D tissue models\nImmunology and immune cell biology\nTranslational and preclinical research\nFluorescence microscopy and image analysis\nFlow cytometry and cell sorting (FACS)\nBiomarker discovery and validation\nTherapeutic target identification and characterization\nDrug screening and functional assay development\n\nTechnical Expertise\nCandidates should have experience with several of the following techniques:\nMammalian cell culture and sterile laboratory practices\nOrganoid establishment, maintenance, and characterization\nFlow cytometry panel design, acquisition, and data analysis\nImmune cell isolation, phenotyping, and functional assays\nFluorescence and confocal microscopy\nImmunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF)\nELISA, multiplex cytokine assays, and protein quantification\nPCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR, and gene expression analysis\nWestern blotting and protein characterization\nDNA/RNA extraction and molecular biology techniques\nStatistical analysis and data visualization tools\nExperience with electronic laboratory notebooks and data management systems\n\nEmployee Benefits\nWe offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, 401(k) with employer match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off, company-paid holidays, and sponsored employee events.
