We are looking for a skilled professional with 7+ years of relevant experience who brings strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a mission-driven, high-visibility environment.\nRequirements:\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to support government agency data operations\nDevelop and optimize data models, schemas, and storage solutions using modern cloud and on-premise platforms\nCollaborate with stakeholders and solution architects to define data requirements and translate them into technical designs\nEnsure data quality, integrity, and availability by implementing validation, monitoring, and alerting frameworks\nSupport integration of disparate data sources, APIs, and third-party systems into a unified data ecosystem\nMaintain data governance practices including cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management\nTroubleshoot data pipeline failures and performance issues in production environments\nDocument technical designs, data flows, and operational runbooks in accordance with project standards\nWork within Agile/SAFe delivery teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives\nApply security best practices to protect sensitive government data in compliance with applicable regulations\nUS citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; 5 additional years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree\n7+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including pipeline development and data architecture\nProficiency in SQL and at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Scala, or Java)\nExperience with data integration tools and platforms (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or equivalent)\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native data services\nStrong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and database design\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment\nExperience working in a government or federal IT environment\nFamiliarity with data governance frameworks and compliance requirements (FISMA, FedRAMP)\nAgile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodology experience\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data solutions\nKnowledge of NoSQL databases and real-time streaming architectures\n\"Anivas Tech is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
