This role ensures that employees are well-trained, knowledgeable, and compliant with hospital policies and industry standards. Collaborate with the Nursing Manager, Employee Experience Manager and other members of leadership to facilitate employee training and onboarding processes.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.\nAssess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations with department heads.\nSource and update training materials, manuals, and resources.\nFacilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars on various topics, including clinical procedures, customer service, and safety protocols.\nMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed.\nMaintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.\nCollaborate with other departments to identify and address training needs.\nCollaborate with the Employee Experience Manager on projects and hospital goals.\n\nCompetencies:\n\nStrong leadership and organizational skills.\nExcellent communication and presentation abilities.\nAbility to assess training needs and develop effective programs.\nProficiency in creating and updating training materials.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively with various departments.\n\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\n\nFamiliarity with adult learning principles and training methodologies.\nProficiency in using training software and tools.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.\n\nEducation and Experience:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, Education, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical or veterinary healthcare industry, with at least 2 years in a training or supervisory role.\nCertification in training and development is a plus.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nAbility to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.\nProlonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.\nAbility to conduct training sessions in various settings, including clinical environments.\nExposure to animals, including those that may be sick or injured.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\n\nEclipse Specialty & Emergency Pet Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
